Dynamic pages with alternate delimiters
Will semicolon links be spidered?

I've searched a number of different places, but haven't seen this one addressed yet. I have a page that I just recoded to use semicolons instead of ampersands as argument separators, so I'll have a link like:

find.cgi?format=widget;type=blue;op=dance

Is that going to work? There are a couple of the &-delimited pages indexed already, so I've just done a 301 to bounce to the new ones. I haven't seen any attempts by Google to grab any of the new links though. Alexa's tried to get find.cgi?format=widget (without other arguments), but they're hopeless, so I'm not too concerned. Any thoughts?

I don't know but possible 'widget;type=blue;op=dance' would be considered as a single parameter.
Anyway the advice is: always follow the secure path.
Why take risks if you can use '&'?
