Google focus more on backlinks from external sites

 2:30 pm on Jul 31, 2003 (gmt 0)

I read in a Magazine that a university has found out that Google will focus more on links from external sites, because the search will be much quiker if they dont have to focus so much on links on a site and then they could add some new stuff to there search.

I think that is bull if Google realy does that and everything looks like it, see your backlinks, but why speed the search up I think its quick enogh.

I don't know about speeding up searches, but Google does give a greater link text weight to links from outwith the domain.

outwith the domain

But for now we're not worried about IP are we?

Good Point on IP. I think as many here do that Google will soon either give much less weight to links from within the same class ip block or discount them all together. That being said I need to know some very reliable hosts as I am moving some sites to different providers... I know they are everywhere but I need to know which ones you guys have good exp. with.

I dont think they will look on the IP, because many share the hosting I think they go for the domain name.

Searg: I got a dedicated server, because I use about 300GB bandwidth. So what do you need I have had a few hosting services with time.
