Just when I gave up on Google

I stopped "optimizing" for Google about 2 years ago or even more. Move to more stabilized options, like paying for traffic. I don't think you can run a business with a monthly update that can take you up and then down the next month.

Over time my traffic from Google "free" traffic was very minimal. I guess other were doing a better job "optimizing". Few days ago I start seeing a big increase in traffic from Google, I guess what was good 2 years ago is good again.

Thanks Google for a few hundred dollars extra a day for free. Don't worry Google I will not drop our paying campaign. I still like the pay traffic.

Interesting to read the reaction on here. Now Google is no good anymore. Is on the way out. Google is full of SPAM. Gusse what Google is and allways be full SPAM

I still hope that Google will elect to introduce some kind of pay option like PFI. I will be the first one to sign up. (Can't wait for that IPO)

I still think that the Google "free" traffic is the most expensive traffic out there.

Way to go Google.

hi powerstar,

Just wondering what kind of sales conversion rate are you getting from Google's paid services as compared to the free listing?

I'm not getting good conversion from the free but don't have the budget to go into paid at the moment. Just sniffing around...

I am not clear what you meant up the above .. If I understood corretly you were meaning that you run SPAM sites and they rank well now and you are happy with it and Guess Google will remain the way it is now (full SPAM)?.

If so, I am not sure if this another angle to moan/whine about the recent Google algo.
