my placement for my main keyword before this update was page 1 #1

then this update started and I saw my keyword on www2 and 3 on page 14

then yesterday my keyword was on page 14 for www, www2 and 3

then my keyword was on page 14 for www and on page 1 for www2 and 3

today my keyword is on page 1 for www, www2 and 3

What should I expect to happen in the end?

Am I waiting for the update to finish then backlinks to be added back in?

according to Googleguy all datacentres will be populated with the new index (or a version of it) then things like filters, backlinks, new data will be added over time.

I personally think the index will stay as it is until the May deepcrawl is added...... so another month or so I think.

Needinfo, I would agree.

Expect to see the "new index" as it is for some time, with the exception of frsh/everflux results.

My best guess is that they will probably do a deepcrwal in the next couple of weeks, then, finally add new data in the June update.

Yes, and there are dozens upon dozens of threads diretcly in front of you that tell you this. Please people, lets not all just keep starting threads asking/stating the same thing over and over and over again.
We really need to work together here to keep this forum as useful as we all have come to expect it to be.
