All the results seem to be displayed on www.google now, and the new Pageranks are out.

plus - the datacenters that are getting updated do not match -sj or -fi - so I'd say it is a loooong way from over. Out of 9 datacenters - there are 4 different indexes currently at play

I still dont think it is over, the positions are jumping around still, and some sites still appear to be missing, but still have Pageranks. Googeguy, if you are there can you shed some light on whats going on?

They are still dancing.

Am amazed that they have done this seemingly without rectifying the recent backlinks problem. Oh well. My money making sites are going to make money. But that is not food for this heart.

Yeah i was the dumbo that thought we were reverting to the old index earlier because I was suddenly getting traffic again...but the reality is we are still deep in the update and alas we have no roadmap to guide us to just how deep..

Update isn't over yet. Only ex and in has the new index.
There is still seven datasenters to go.

All the sites that I have seen new to this index have Pageranks 0, and no backward links, but some of them still rank.

This is the first time my page rank bounce from 4 to 0, (unlike the Cassandra update) is this normal or I am getting penalize?

Yeah, I wouldnt worry too much, its just too stressful. You cant take anything for real for a few weeks, until we really know whats going on.

I think thats the way it is. All new sites have PR 0s with no backward links, I think this is because the results are no that new, and they did not come from the April crawl, so therefore were unable to register all the backward links, and thus assign a Pagerank.

And on that note, we'll put this discussion back on the shelf. GoogleGuy [webmasterworld.com] has said several times that the move to a new and better system will be a slow one.
