Or they might have quite a backlog of reinclusion requests and it might take them a few months to get to yours.

The message that was "snipped" (sorry about that!) indicated that if Google's engineers were in fact able to reinclude the site that it would take several index updates for the site to appear. I guess bringing back the dead really is next to impossible!

There were some that came back from PR0, which is just about as bad, but it didn't happen overnight.

It looks like they're testing my banned sites at the -sj and www2+3. Does your site come up on those databases? If so, they might be re-testing yours too

The site is showing up now in www2 if I search for the words in the <title> and it does not do that in www - so maybe there is hope.
