What was that device that they used in Men in Black to erase people's memories? Can't remember. Anyway, bigezdaddy, please look at this completely innocent pen for just a minute, would you? Tee hee..

Marketing Guy, I found it strange too at first ,but it is easy: he probably has "email notification" for google forum.

You might want to consider how else GoogleGuy might have access to the webmaster@google.com address and the queue for the spam report form. Not to mention getting his signature on the printout with Larry and Serge. He also has been known to let us know what is about to happen. This may not be proof, but it's good enough for me.

Whatever happened to googles new year resolution? we all have no idea why there is such deviation from the usual schedule, and my emails sent out over a month ago to them specifically mentioning googleguy and this forum as per his request have recieved no response with the exception of auto responders. i do understand that google doesn't owe us webmasters anything but with power comes responsibility and they should at least communiacate a bit to those that rely on them.

> What was that device that they used in Men in > Black to erase people's memories? Can't > remember. Googleguy, "Can't remember"? Oh no, does that mean you used it on yourself? <chuckle> Hope not. People might get worried that you'd forget where that big red button was. Or is it a blue button? Hmmm... I forgot... :) Beth

Id figure that Google would pay someone to relate and communicate on forums and other open forums of communication via the Internet. Which is what I believe GoogleGuy's Job is. The only way for a search engine or any site to connect with the surfers is to know what they want. And the only way to keep people happy is to give them answers or suggestions :D

If GoogleGuy is really Brett, the only posibility is that Brett work in Google and he is really a 'GoogleGuy'. But from reading all the posts, it is really hard to believe they are the same people.

Not to worry, Brett. We've got this latest speculation that you're googleguy. Ah, let's see, that means about 50-60 hrs/week minimum working at google during a busy time. And you manage Webmasterworld and your other site(s). And you post messages to Webmasterworld as Brett. And post messages as Googleguy. Considering all this, I don't think you have any time left to spend at your bat cave. So little chance of being found there. :) Beth
