Most of the time they happen just after the update is mostly finished. A couple times last year, they did happen before the update.

That links checks for a update/dance. That's what were all going bonkers over.

I misread that. I thought you were asking (per the title) when the full crawls have happened.

I think the last crawl happened during the second week of March. I'm not sure if you can put an exact date on it as there are multiple visits involved in a crawl.

It lasts 10 days, or as long as it takes for your site to get crawled. For example, my small sites can see it for only a few days, while my big sites get hit during the full 10 days. March 10th-20th was the last one. August 2002: 8/8-?/8 --- 8/26-9/4 Two deepcrawls? October 2002: 1-12 Two deepcrawls? November 2002: 3-15 December 2002: 2-? January 2003: 4-14 Febrary 2003: 6-16 March 2003: 10-20

Must have a bean counter in charge of the dance routine. If we can crimp a few extra days in each cycle, we can reduce our expenses by 10-15% per annum, by having only 10 or 11 updates. Only thinking out loud............
