I am making my site and i was wondering when do you guys submit your site to SEs? my work is going very slow. i would like to my site to be ASAP in SEs.

so is it "smart" to subbmit unfinished site (pages that existare finished, jsut many iste are missing thus 404 errors) to SE so at least soemthign is in SEs until i finish my site. or wait wjhen i finish my site and then submit (SEs update around 1 time per month - this look to me as too long to wait).

So what can happen if i submit my not finished site with links to non existing pages (around 15 pages exist right now)? can this cause some penalties or some harm to my site?

when you make a new site do you always wait to compeltelly finish site and then submit or submit partially finished sit too? i mean "logically" (traffic to ) even few pages is better than zero pages right?

added: sorry, i dint see that there is a forum called "SE submission". please move my post there. also there is a thread there for incomplete site submission but my main priority is JUST free Search engines like google, av etc. those that dont need editors to accept you.

I would suggest you make sure things are looking finished before you submit.

You will have difficultly getting an ODP listing if you have errors and "under construction" pages. WRT to google you have missed this months update, so providing you get it up an running in the next couple of weeks you should be cool.

Dont try and short cut, it will be worth the wait. I also think google will look badly on lots of broken links and may have some adverse effect
