Hi, I have a site with a local (Italian) version and an English version. I want to submit the Italian version to Italian search engines (i.e. google.it) and the English version to American/international SE (i.e. google.com). If both submissions end up in the same global directory, would the double submission be considered spam?

Hi barbas, Welcome to WebmasterWorld.
Did you read paynt's welcome post [webmasterworld.com]? Nice way to get started here. Your pages will end up in the same index and that wont be considered as spam. If I where you, I would not bother submitting to Google. If your site is included in ODP [dmoz.org] and such other directories Google will find it by itself.

Barbas - please make sure to check out the thread on Italian search engines [webmasterworld.com] in the European forum. You will find info on all engines, on submissions , who's feeding whom etc.
If you need help, you're welcome to ask in the European forum.
