Hi,

I am wanting to submit my site to infoseek so it sends its spider but can't find the 'Add URL' link. All I can find is a link to overture which require the pay per click model.

Can anyone help me out?

thanks,

Nick

My friend, if you mean Infoseek US, then I'm afraid I must inform you it is dead! Finito! Not worth bothering with!

Hi Nickc001,
Infoseek [webmasterworld.com] closed some time back and no longer runs its own search engine. The SERPs come from Overture backed up by the Inktomi database.

I was looking at the spider information on Search Engine World and it still lists infoseek and a list of known IP addresses. Are these spiders no longer functioning then? Do I need to submit to inktomi? Where can I find inktomi's addurl page.

thanks for your time,

Nick
