How many submissions can I try for a day?

 10:03 am on Jun 28, 2001 (gmt 0)

Hi, I'm Terry from Thailand. I tried to search for this information and cannot find anywhere. The question is how many submissions are we allowed for one day without being considered as spam? or Which SE's allow, and which don't?

Thank you.

Sawas di Khrap to Webmasterworld.

The consensus around here is 5 URL's per domain per day to be safe with the search engines (although many people submit more without consequence). For the directories you're best off submitting once every couple of weeks so as to not spam the editors inbox.

Sawasdee Krap eljefe3 (whats your name eh?)

Thanks. The more information, the more I am confused. Some said we can't do more than one submission to this engine or no more than 5 for that one.

However, am I right that we need to submit all pages to S/E and not to directories?

For the directories just submit the home page itself as the whole site will be reviewed for inclusion.

As far as the Search Engines go submit each page as some engines only spider the submitted page while others will follow the links on the submitted page.
