I am looking for a simple linux based XSL/XML processor that is very small, does not need to be installed, and can be used from the comand prompt.

I need to use it on a system that does not run java, does not have xsl with its php and is a very light weight system.

Can anybody help me?

Standalone XSLT processor for FreeBSD [biglist.com] posting is a year old and things might have moved on.

You could also try the XSLT FAQ [dpawson.co.uk], failing that ask the XSLT list [mulberrytech.com]
