msg:689620 | 4:17 am on Jul 20, 2001 (gmt 0) | Im new to the domain name stuff.... I already have my site hosted for free on free.prohosting.com, and i want to register my domain name for it... I dont think prohosting does domain hosting for free, so i was just wondering what you would call a domain register that acts just like a redirector (cjb.net, arrive.to, myname.is) ... I dont have a clue about that DNS stuff.... I dont really mind having my links point to [free.prohosting.com...] , although if they could point to [mydomain.com...] that would be even better! Anyways, i just want a domain name for my existing free hosting service... I ONLY want to pay like 10 bucks for a domain name, nothing else!!! Someone please help me :p

I have set up a few domains that direct traffic back to existing free sites, like you are referring to, in only a few minutes. It will walk you though the process. I have not tried Godaddy as Hunter sugested but I have read that several people are happy with them as well.
