Their Whois gives Germany, but the contact info on the site gives a Swiss address. The contract you take out is to the Swiss address.

It was originally a German company but I think that it shifted tax domicile to Switzerland. Around the same time, the billing changed from Euros with German VAT to US Dollars. Regards...jmcc
