What is the value of keyword in domain name?

Assuming the keywords 'abcd xyzy' is searched 5,000 times a day, and I book the domain abcdxyzy.com or with any other country extension.

I assume it helps in ranking on search engines more easily if keyword is in domain?

There may be some benefit, especially if the domain name is easy to remember for your visitors. But your inbound links and page content are much more important.

Value = # people that type-in the domain a day Xs what it would cost you to buy a click to bring such a person to your site via AdWords etc. PPC Xs 365 days a year Xs how every many years your keyword will remain popular discounted to present value and augmented for future growth of people online likely to use that keyword type-in Xs the future increase in value of PPC traffic + . . .

Get the picture?

I think it is better to see domains as a from of branding, and then their value is more easily derived.
