Buying a domain
How do I know if it's in the sandbox or blacklisted

Im out to buy some new domains, but I want to avoid the sandbox and blacklisted names. Many domains have "landing pages" for their host, and Im not sure how google reacts to if I was to purchase one and put completely different content & pages there.

Does anyone have experience with buying domains that are "clean"?

1. Sandbox is a Google News Forum [webmasterworld.com] topic, and it's not related to the domain name itself at all. The so-called Sandbox phenomenon is about how you develop the domain. But we won't be having that discussion in this forum - it's just not on-topic.

2. Blacklisting is a spam related phenomenon. You can check with the different websites of the organizations who maintain the lists:

Fair enough tedster. So a more general question: I need tip on where to buy domains + casual content that have existed for a while. Anyone?
