Unpaid Names Department?
ummm..ok..I have some cash

 3:19 am on Jan 21, 2004 (gmt 0)

Hello...any help would be appreciated...

So I did a Whois for a domain name and the owner is "register.com "Unpaid Names Department"" and it says the domain name I wanted expired in February 2003. So I try and buy it but it says it's not available. Anyone care to fill me in on what these clowns are up to? If the domain expired 11 months ago how come it's in limbo and who are these tough guys at the Unpaid Names Department who have it locked down? :(

welcome to register.com...start hating it and get used to it :)
Send them an email or get on the phone, that's about all you can do.

Thanks Hunter!

Let the hating begin!

Better wait when the domain goes into redemption and then pending delete and finally available.

contact any domain company that is able to "grab" this domain for you as soon as it becomes available to public.

there is company where i am (vancouver, bc, canada) and they charge $5 for service plus domain cost if they get it if they dont you don't pay anything :)

And most of these services do NOT work and you will NOT get the domain...unless you use the right ones. I know a lot about this topic, feel free to sticky me.
