Well, it looks like .ca domains may finally become deregulated and available to all. Internic.ca [internic.ca] is taking pre-registration. Price will be $70 CDN or you can take your chances and get them through the various other nics for cheaper after deregulation.

hey oil, if they use a lottery to distribute all of the single-word domains to each man, woman, and child in CA, that works out to about 125 domains each doesn't it?

Actually if they distribute north of the 50th parallel, then oil may just get them all.
