Googlebots sharing cache volatilegx msg:676363 12:37 pm on Apr 20, 2006 (gmt 0) A bit of news that is of interest to people cloaking to Google... Matt Cutts announced here at Pubcon that all Googlebots now share cache records. This means that you should have all Googlebots in your IP/UA lists. So, if you avoiding putting Mediabot or Newsbot in your list for some unfathomable reason, you should now do so :)

So this effectivly means that when you're running adsense you're pages will be refreshed more often (because mediabot is checking them..). Resulting in more fresh pages in the index. volatilegx msg:676365 1:13 am on Apr 23, 2006 (gmt 0)
I suppose, assuming mediabot continues to check as often as it always has. Good point. LeoXIV msg:676366 6:28 pm on Apr 28, 2006 (gmt 0)
is the host name for Newsbot same as mediapartners? volatilegx msg:676367 6:48 pm on Apr 29, 2006 (gmt 0)
Hmm... I don't really track hostnames so I couldn't tell you. You might want to ask in Search Engine Spider Identification [ webmasterworld.com] LeoXIV msg:676368 2:44 pm on Apr 30, 2006 (gmt 0)
