Cloaking. Why? mrossetti msg:677684 2:24 pm on Apr 23, 2002 (gmt 0) I am just wondering. Why should I need to cloak and serve the spider a different page. Can't I just simply tune up my "real" page and let both spiders and netsurfers find it? I mean: in what is a normal page different from the one you feed the spiders with when you are cloaking? Is it a matter of "only text" or what else.
Can someone explain this to me?

The reason you might want to cloak the page is to keep competitors from seeing your optimized page HTML code. Travoli msg:677686 4:01 pm on Apr 23, 2002 (gmt 0)

Thanks very much. Now it'a little bit clearer for me.
Have a nice day,
