hosting problems

I have just changed my hosting, but my site is down allmost every 5th day and it has been that way for 2-3 month and they dont seem to care.

The service is, you buy a domain name and you will get a free hosting 60MB for life, but I thought about maybe they want us to leave again then they have more server space, so thats why my page is down so often.

Now to the question:

Is there a place where I can complain about this

P.s I have this service because I dont want to pay monthly because I have not earnt any cash from my sponsor ads yet.

thanks and this a great forum

taskmaster - welcome to WebmasterWorld.

We were recently discussing a similar situation to yours - free hosting. We came to the following conclusion: "You Get What You Pay For". This is so true in the world of hosting.

I understand it can be hard to shell out cash to host a site that isn't turning a profit yet but it's probably a good a idea. You're certainly not going to make any money when the site is down.

Good luck with it. I'd move the site right away. Do a search in these forums for hosting suggestions. There are some decent hosts out there that are very reasonably priced.

Agreed, move the site right away - if the company doesn't care enough to keep the site online you shouldn't care to give them the money.

However I've run into many of providers offering hosting services with a free domain or visa-versa and they have some catch, like i registered a domain for free through them but they OWNED the domain - my name was no where on contact info. When I wanted to change hosting it cost me 50.00 heh their transfer fee.
