Another external .JS file question
anyway to keep their content private?

We have a java script we'd really like to keep completely private. Having just read the thread about .js files getting cached, I'm guessing there's no way to hide the code, but, maybe.

Does anyone know if the .js code can be protected from prying eyes???

Steve

No way that I know about, Steve. The external .js slows up a few novices, but that's about it.

Bob,

I put two and two together and came up with this:

(Well, I can't show you because the boards read the code and translate it -

That is the full url to a .js file in unicode - works in both NS and IE perfectly. May help slow the pro a bit

>slow the pro

Yes, but the "Save As" (all files) will copy it to local, I believe.

I've also seen dummy functions added to make the logic a little more difficult to sort out.
