Live streaming audio while browsing site

Have a website that is theme based in the 40's and 50's. Would like to have a live audio stream playing while people are browsing the site, say maybe a local station near me that plays this period music. The radio station I'm thinking of streams on the net now using Windows media player.

I figure if they play music in the department stores and on the phone when I'm on hold, this shouldn't be too tough. Or is it?

Suggestions?

My suggestion is don't do it. Streaming audio on a website chews through bandwidth and pisses people off. 9 times out of 10 I will leave a site that automatically plays any kind of music (especially those bloody annoying midis)

Why not just link to the them.
