I need an auction program for my site. Preferably free. What do you suggest?

Does osCommerce offer anything like that?

Maybe I'll check out some "scripts" sites

another thing....

I just want only me to be able to post items for sale.
(users can only bid)

I've used both, scripts from GeoDesic solutions and Photopost. Not free.. but pretty decent and with some tweaking of usergroup permissions you should be able to manage the posting / bidding.
