Im using paypal on a charity site that right now really cant afford to pay for an expensive e-commerce provider/payment gateway...

PayPal is nice, well set up and easy to use - but not enough people have got accounts, and its a pain to set one up just to make a donation...is there any other option?

im in the UK by the way...

Thanks

Harley

Harley, in the US, ProPay is a better option for commercial sites. Not familiar with the UK but I understand that WorldPay is widely used for commercial sites.

No help any further, but what I'd do is hunt down similar sites in directories to see what they're using, possibly emailing to get opinions on how their options are working for them.

I think Worldpay in this case may be a very good option, especially since they offer special rates for Charity and Non-profit organisations.

Hi Harley,

I'm not sure if it is what you are looking for but [paystamp.com ] has a free donation facility.

Their payment gateway is not available at the moment but I believe I read a post in their member forum that they are still able to offer the donation facility.

They are based in the UK so it may be worth emailing them to find out more info.
