Do promotional sites for affiliate programs need to be p3p compliant? I believe its the server that actually places the cookie that must be compliant..so if they click on a banner on my site the surfer goes to the sponsor's server and a cookie is placed by them so i need not worry for my affiliate type sites?

Hello creep,

It sounds as if you have answered your own question. Since your "promotional site" merely provides the link to the actual site of affiliation, where the cookies are doled out, there should be no requirement on your end for p3p.
