You should also get a lot of people who enter their email as just "somename" with no "@domain.com" They're usually AOL users.

My mother would be one of those users - she still can't tell the difference between the Web and email and tells everyone her email address starts www.

yeah i too have seen such email address many times people use such kind of address to impress others that they have www in it

But wait, if you are talking about the dot, that type of email can exist...when I went to college, my email was like this: firstname.lastname@schoolname.edu

They're usually AOL users - very true! made me laugh. You can have a dot dividing up teh first and last nbame but ive never come across an email address that starts www. Unless the parents were sadistic and called the kid that....... Parent 1 ' hey love you seen www?' parent2 'No honey I think he's done a 404 on us'
