does anyone else in here use cardcops.com for chargebacks? Ive been a member with them for 2 months and havent gotten one person using a stolen credit card since. Im thinking this may be because of the recession or no? If anyone has any experience with fraudulant sales I would love to hear how you are fighting them. I have less than a 1% chargeback ratio and Im looking for 0%! Thanks for any input. -Stephen Harris
For online services, the only way to get close to a 0% chargeback system is to require physical signature from the customer before shipment and document purchases and shipment information with receipts specifically for each shipment. To fight chargebacks, you have the burden of proof to show that you as a merchant have completed your end of the purchase, that the cardholder authorized the purchase, that you've done several steps to verify that the card holder is legitimate and that you have a return policy that supports your stance in any chargeback. Other than those steps, no service can provide you with the documentation that you need for the level of protection that you want.
