I seem to get a lot of orders from a small town in Norway, completely isolated. Every month or so, same person or a member of the family.
1) Falkan Islands. I had to look up the Atlas for this location. It has an interesting history. If you have the inclination, take a look.
2) Pakistan. First attempt to send the package was returned to me without notice from the US Postal Service. I resubmitted the package, but I am not confident it ever made it there. I am confident the contents were examined before exiting the USA border.
3) Bulgaria. But I don't want to talk about this one. :(
Vladivostok Russia . I put the goods on a truck in Ottawa and sent it to Vancouver. From there it got put on a boat to Pusan Korea. After sitting there for a week or so, it was put on a boat to Vladivostok.
The cost of the freight alone was over4k.
Ive never heard of the falkan islands must be tiny.
So what gives with Bulgaria then?
the dreaded nigeria, and i was paid western union mo by mail and collected the cash no problem.
bahamas - but only once, pretty exotic for me.
A small town outside of Rabat, Morocco (from Canada).
Slew of orders and repeat orders (skin care) over three weeks from apparent neighbours. UPS Express too. Then nothing since.
Were they using the product for some unheard of purpose ;-) or the containers for decorating... Puzzled and intrigued! But I don't speak the language so I may be missing out on a local custom....
>>Ive never heard of the falkan islands must be tiny.
maybe means "FALKLAND ISLANDS"
it is quite a place, wonder if there are any WW members from there?
Ile de la reunion, between Madagascar and Indonesia in the Indian Ocean.
Ahhh the Falkland island, I know where where they are.
we fought a war in 1982 to keep them in British hands.
I sold seeds in an online auction to the Chatham Islands. To me that seemed exotic
One of the "outer islands" of Fiji
Had an order go to a 5 star hotel in the Bahamas ... nice.
Tanzania once - took four weeks to arrive. Customer did'nt seem surprised at the delivery time, just that it arrived at all.
Papua New Guinea, nice lady took a phone picture of herself holding the package about 3 weeks after it left the UK and e-mailed it back to me. The local post office was a green painted tin shack in the jungle and there was the package, cool or what?
I've sold motorcycle parts to a guy in Iceland (!)
I thought all they used there were snowmobiles. That just goes to show how little I know about the world.
Shipped stuff to Canada, Japan and England no problem, but they've got a much larger motorcycle population. :-)
Great Hall of the First City on the Klingon Homeworld.
Jamica - exotic for me as I like to vacation there.

I've never been there, but I've always here that Iceland and Greenland are backwards, as far as their name goes...
Iceland is filled with hot springs, and Greenland is a barren wasteland of snow.
A private island somewhere in the pacific.
Small village in deep south america.
Once had a phone order from an Egyptian guy who did not speak a word of english. That was fun, and it was great to be able to help him out. He had to put his 11 year old kid on to talk to us. :)
what did you sell there? If it was Monopoly I hope you removed the get out of jail card....
I recently sent packages to soldiers in Afghanistan, about 4 different orders last week and so far they have not come back, however the most exotic was Phuket, Thailand - of course it took weeks to get there, must have arrived in one of those bicycle bamboo things.
I have shipped many order to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. APO addresses make the shipping easy - and they really are thankful I will ship to them.
