Optimize the site with some content pages related to the theme of the site. Do some keyword research first. Look for specialized directories and pay for the major directories, unless your Yahoo regional is free. There are also probably some region specific sites to list at.
Then there's off-web, traditional advertising that would normally be used for selling artwork. There are some threads on how to promote other than search engines.
I've got no idea about credit card processing in your area, but you can look through the Asian-Pacific forum to see if there might be some information, as well as regional search engine information. Look beyond the majors; there are search engines specific to places like Australia and other countries, and art is universal, so optimize and submit to those also.
Someone else will have to recommend the software. You can probably find some at hotscripts.com or cgi-resources.com and some might have multi-lingual capability if that's needed.
