An associate of mine is working to set up an ecommerce package for his web hosting customers. He is looking for what the legal requirements or the rules for hosting and providing secure online transactions are. If any one knows of a site or company who could provide that info I know he and myself would be grateful.

The best place to educate yourself? Go read the terms of service agreements listed on major hosting companies. You'll notice themes in the dialog.

Thanks for the links. I found this these two: [ecommerce.gov...]
and [ecommercetimes.com...]

Both seem very informative.
