Mozilla table border chairwars msg:610109 2:51 pm on Jun 4, 2004 (gmt 0) I want to put a white border round some cells. In IE and Opera it appears fine, but in Mozilla the white border does not appear. Im using the following code for my border: <td width="16%" bgcolor="#E7EBEF" bordercolor="#FFFFFF" style="border: 1 solid #FFFFFF">. When viewed in Mozilla only the background colour is visible but no white border. Any ideas why?

You need to specify a unit for the width-- try border:1px solid #fff .
You may also wish to note that bordercolor is a Microsoft-only attribute which has been obviated by CSS.

you just forgot the semicolon in your style statement.
style="border: 1 solid #FFFFFF"
style="border: 1px solid #FFFFFF;"
whenever you use more than one value, you have to use a semicolon. You must also add px, pt, em etc for size values except for zero.
<td style="border: 0"> is ok
but <td style="border: 2px dotted #fff;"> must identify the size type and have a semicolon.
