Bizarre problem in Explorer

 4:51 pm on Mar 22, 2004 (gmt 0)

I accidentally added too many " on a link which generated an error <A HREF="link.html"">. I fixed the problem; however, my browser will not show the fixed page and still generates the error from it? As far as Explorer is concerned its still <A HREF="link.html"">. I cleared my History and deleted the Temporary Internet Files, restarted browser....still the error appears. Has anyone encountered this problem as it would appear to be serious if it is a common problem with Explorer.

this may be a lame answer, but did you FTP the corrected page?

you may have fixed the page locally but forgot to FTP it--i've done it!

Yes, the corrected page is up. I contacted a buddy and the link works fine to him.....no error. I even renamed the page thinking that may fix the problem in my browser and I now get this in the status bar [mysite.com...]

Try hitting CTL-F5 , sounds like the bad page is cached.
