Popup window when page loads...
How do I create one? Anyone know?

I have made a very temporary page for a site that I am working on that is functional and basic, but very VERY Stripped down of it's finale content.

I made it in order to give the spiders some food and attract them. That way, by the time it is done they will be under the belief that the page changes often and it will, at that time, contain MUCH more content.

So, what I would like to do for HUMANS viewing the page is have a window popup when the homepage is accessed, and in that window, contain a message telling the user about it's unfinished characteristics. How do I go about doing this? I assume that it would be a JScript thing, but I cannot find out how to make it happen when a page completely loads.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

You can approach it one of two ways: you can cloak, or you can use JavaScript. If you use JavaScript, you can open the additional window by having an onLoad event on your <body> tag that opens the additional window. The search engines should ignore the JavaScript. To open a window using JavaScript, see this thread [webmasterworld.com ].
