At first, I dismissed this as another 'Pointcast' (remember them?) --but I'm seeing pieces fall in place; backers, press, now content [siliconvalley.internet.com]. Like WAP, this might be a browser-altering issue, but mostly I'm just curious right now.

msg:589204 | 6:11 pm on Aug 9, 2000 (gmt 0) | As I understand it, the browser becomes a shell and Octopus provides snippets of sites that run in their section of a "browser desktop" (to coin a phrase, perhaps). If a site is contained within a section of a browser, how is the presentation of that site effected?
