Weird character bleed from last option in dropdown
IE only error, select has fixed width by CSS and DOM is used to populate

Hi All,

I'm wondering if any of you HTML gurus can help with a mysterious problem. I have a select dropdown with a fixed width set by CSS and being populated using the DOM. For some reason, in IE the last character of the last option appears to be bleeding out of the drop down. If you click on the letter, the actual dropdown is selected but the mouse pointer is the caret!

I'd be happy to post any further clarification. I'm hoping someone has experienced this weird problem before!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Most likely if you cancel the fixed width you will see it fine. Have you tried to make the width greater than the current value, try it.
