FYI, here's the background. 'extremely critical' flaw has been found in Firefox 1.0.6 running on Linux or Unix [ news.zdnet.co.uk] Farix msg:626585 8:24 pm on Sep 21, 2005 (gmt 0)
Sooo, if I'm a Windows user, I can ignore this update and wait for 1.5 before upgrading? asquithea msg:626586 9:07 pm on Sep 21, 2005 (gmt 0)
No. 1.0.7 also contains a fix for the IDN bug, and for a bunch of regressions caused by previous bug-fix releases.
The word is that people are actively trying to cook up an exploit for the IDN problem, so it's best to update if you're still using 1.0.6. Should be pretty seamless.
