This is driving me crazy - tables?

Hi folks:

I am putting together my personal site (it has been a year or so since I have developed a new site) and I can not remember how to get my images on the left of the screen to stay put when posting text or images into the column directly next to it (the middle of my page). Basically, it is 11 rows by 2 columns. The images on the left space out and I believe it is because of the text/images in the middle expand past the left navigation images - causing the table to expand and leaving white space in between each image. Any suggestions on how to get my text in the middle to expand past and leave my images on the left where they are?

Thanks

One thing you must do is forcibly size every row/col/image and the width of the table or the cells will expand to fill. If you need some more help, sticky me, send me your code, and I'll send you an example how to fix it.

Oh, one more thing. The page appears correct in Dreamweaver MX, however IE shows the white space between the images on the left.

Hi jschmitz:

Thanks for responding - I will try that right now and get back to you.
