| Different background colours in drop down form box I know it can be done, but how?? |

msg:568449 | 12:21 pm on Sep 3, 2001 (gmt 0) | Hey guys and Gals, After a couple of months off, Im back again and have a whole host of questions to trouble you with, this first one has bugged me, I thought I knew the answer. I thought wrong!.... I don't recall where I saw it, but I saw a dropdown box in a field, and when I pressed the down arrow to expand it, I saw that in the drop down box, some of the options had different background colours - as to highlight them. I thought it would be easy with CSS, but could I do it? Like buggery I could! Someone, enlighten me, please! Cheers, Sticky

msg:568450 | 4:04 pm on Sep 4, 2001 (gmt 0) | Here's a reference on how to introduce the color backgrounds into forms: [webdesign.about.com...] Is that where are you running into trouble? Or is it putting the forms on the drop-down? BTW, colors for form backgrounds are not supported in NN4.x
