Hi I had the same problem days ago, until I did what Zygoot is saying. But the most strange thing was, that I searched, looked, every CJ webpages for an email address that I can contact them and I can't found even one there! PSAZF

Yeah, they do seem to be making a bit more difficult to sign up. I wanted to set my husband up with an account and it took my a good 5 minutes to find the application. Maybe it is a tactic to keep so-so applicants from signing up.

In my opinion CJ has always had the worst most user-unfriendly interface in the whole world. I still can't find much of anything in there, although after tripping about on the site for a couple years I manage to get a nice fat CJ check nonetheless. Imagine what I could do if I could ever find what I was looking for in there...

When I first signed up it took me a couple of days to get my application submitted, it kept dying 1/2 way through. Finally figured out that it didn't like Firefox (at the time) and I needed to submit via IE (weak).

I keep trying to signup and I don't see any boxes with code in it that they keep referring to at the bottom of the form? I have tried FF and IE. Definately unfriendly.

follow Zygoots directions and on the last page look for "CJ Marketplace Publisher application" at the bottom of the page.

I was able to find and complete the application but at the bottom of the application it says - Please enter the characters into the box below. I may be blind but I can't find any characters anywhere to enter. If I look at the code, there is a gif situated right before the box, but on my screen in FF and IE nothing appears.

You must enter the 4 or 6 (i don't remember) characters that apeears, on the left side of the "box below". You don't see the picture with the characters? Maybe a problem with your security browser too hight?

I have the same problem with the CJ publisher signup page. My IE security and privacy settings are on LOW. The image does not appear.

1- Click tools. 2- Click Internet Options. 3- Click Privacy. 4- Under websites click Edit and look for anything associated with CJ or Commission Junction. 5- If anything is found click on the domain and then click remove.

I used my daughters machine to sign up then and when I tried to log in from my machine into my account information I realized I was getting all kinds of java errors and I could not get most of the link images. After playing around in both IE and FF, I disabled Spyware Blaster and was able to move about normally. Does CJ load spyware on its affiliates machines?

not trying to be facetious but why on earth would you guys want to sign up with a company so obviously incompetent...these problems have been going on with these cowboys for 8 months now? donīt you think itīs a bit strange that a company which professes to be an internet advertiser-publisher-whatever. canīt even configure a webpage?

I have to admit to having serious doubts about using this program due to the technical difficultly I have had so far. However I am interested in a few specific affiliates that they represent. I really wonder how accurate their tracking is given what a pain it was just to sign up?

Thanks, kmander, that helped! I removed cj.com from the Privacy sites and I was able to see the image and signup.

Sometimes there are users with their systems so closed, 'protected', with anti-this, anti-that, ad-this, spy-that, and after all said that the website don't works! PSAZF
