This question is for the merchants out there who have an affiliate program for their store.
I'm toying with the idea of hiring an affiliate manager. What are the things I should be looking out for? What should I insist on? Any "gotchas" I need to be leary of?
This will be a first, and I don't want to get burned. I'm not even exactly sure how it would work. Would I give them access to my account at ShareASale? How else would they be able to communicate directly with the affiliates?
Does anyone have a sample contract I should have them sign?
Any input from someone who's been there would really be helpful!
