I'll take a guess and say that your site is with adult, pharm, gaming or something like that and you want to send them off somewhere else? You have to think what people to your site are coming to buy or look at, then sell them that or related stuff. [edited by: eljefe3 at 2:14 am (utc) on April 5, 2005]

Haha, I actually figured I should have mentioned that we are not adult/gaming/pharm as I did say 18+. We're actually a lead generation company. [edited by: eljefe3 at 2:15 am (utc) on April 5, 2005] [edit reason] np specifics please [/edit]

We deal in those leads but a most of the underage traffic comes from people looking for weightloss.

ringtones maybe? young crowds likes those, and some of the programs accept your cell number, instead of a cc for payment, so younger people could actually "buy".

You may want to try some of the freebie give-a-way type affiliate offers. These typically require a email addy only, so no purchasing needed. You can also target this audience through the type of promotion (i.e. free psp, etc.). The payouts are not high on these, but they are more likely to convert the younger crowds as there is no direct online purchasing needed. A place I have found as a good resource for these is YFDirect. They seem to have a lot of these 'consumer sign-up' types of ads. Another place to check would be CJ. Another suggested targeted ad would be those free download types of ads (i.e. funbuddy, smileycentral, etc.), these are general, and are paid out on a per download basis. Hope this helps out some.

If they are coming for weightloss can you send them to a pilates site (windsor pilates?) or some appearance stuff. Makeup, fat reducing cream, who knows. I'm sure you know what is related so maybe scour drugstore.com and see if you can find anything there. I'm guessing this is mostly women under 18, so maybe an ebook on how to lose weight if there is such a thing (try clickbank, i think that's the name with tons of ebook affs).

Music. I've done pretty well selling iPod stuff and downloads with an Apple Store.

Maybe you could offer a banner ad to the official Michael Jackson website :)

I've tried all sorts of things with this demographic... posters, music-related, acne cream, you name it. Nothing converts well.

in another thread.. I suggested an idea to collect reviews or testimony to whatever this group of folks coming to your website is looking for... now maybe you can't get them to buy anything but the content they generate is probably worth something and could be monetized by adding adsense and other aff products to it... and since your site will have fairly fresh content the SE's will love you for it... and hopefully you'll attract more folks in that category.. or some other folks who are more willing to buy or click your ads...
