Hey, I've just noticed this thread, and wanted to add a comment as early as I could. The AdWords/Adsense referral program is currently operating on a 'by invitation' basis, and isn't widely available as yet. Agreed. $20 is rather small. Bring in a company that spends $10,000 per month ($120K/yr) and you get $20? Perhaps Google could give $1,000 in Adwords credit. That'd be more useful to me and it'd cost zero to Google.

I sent in an application. This fits in nicely with another internet property I've been planning, I hope the application goes through ok. :) I think this is something everyone should consider. When somone asks you how you make money online, you tell them "I use AdWords and/or AdSense" and send them to the respective site.
