Hope it isn't just me.

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US :)

I guess in this case a "me too" post isn't such a bad thing:

Me too.

Technical problems with Amazon aren't exactly a rarity.

True - Amazon's world class e-commerce system falls VERY short in their implementation of the kluge they call an associates program. (At least as far as their interface is concerned)

But it pays well - doing 8.5% on direct link sales can add up after thousands of sales if you have an active site.

Being offline for Thanksgiving though - sucks big time. Who knows if anyone will be in to address it - or whether we will have to wait until as late as Monday. (Not likely - but possible)

I use those reports to determine what is converting - and what to promote more or drop. So it being offline can affect my income greatly.

There's a long thread on the Amazon associate board right now about this. No one is getting in.

The board can be accessed directly, and its login cookie is different so you'll probably be pre-logged-in.

I get this message when trying to log in:

"You do not have an Associates account with access to the area you are requesting.

Click here to learn more about the Associates Program. If you have already signed up to be an Associate, you will receive login instructions with your approval e-mail.

If you are having trouble logging in, please contact us, or you can attempt to log in again. "

Can no longer log in to adsense too, quite a surprise this morning to realize I had probably been banned from both, lol. Glad to know it's not just me then.

Indeed the message board can be accessed. Maybe the URL would be helpful to the people, don't you think?!

I'm so glad this forum exists! ME TOO! I'm locked out! Now I don't feel so bad, and I'll wait for them to get their act together.

I can't get in either. Tried changing passwords and logging in without success. Click the contact link and it takes you to another contact link, and another, and another. I didn't think anyone would start to discuss this on this board, but glad they are. All kinds of paranoid thoughts going through my head right now, but subsiding...

I was pleased to see this thread and the ones on the amazon forums.

This problem had me worried for a few minutes. :(

Not a good way to start a holiday.

Don't think this is over. You're going to see a LOT of errors, and delays over the next month. Amazon stinks when it comes to being ready for the holidays.

When I got the message I went to me E-mail to see if I got a account deleted E-mail from them, then went to the Amazon board.

Indeed. However, I thought it was against TOS to post URLs.

Anyway, I mailed the person who asked with the URL.

I am still locked out and even lost the logins to all countries except Japan. Amazon responded after 1 week asking my details.

Little update: they must have lost data. They asked me to log in with an e-mail address that I have changed some 4-5 weeks ago. Strange, works now for .com, still waiting for resolve on the other country accounts.

They're dead totally right now, at least from where I am. And yesterday all wish list functionality was fubar'd for awhile.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Sort of like eBay a month or two ago.
