so the stats are updatet daily?

If you make a sale you will not see it for a few days.
I know from personal experience. I used one of my own links to order something. I think I did it on a Thursday and the sale showed up the middle of the following week.
I remember seeing something when I signed up about a week delay. Sorry I can't remember the details.
Hope this helps.....

It varies by merchant. Some merchants don't post the sale until it is shipped or the credit card is verified. The best you will do is next-day reporting with some merchants taking up to a week.
Even after the week, the merchant can deduct that sale if it is returned or fraudulent order.

If you are going to test a Linkshare merchant with PPC, you need to run the test and wait at least 2 weeks to see what sales come in. Also, if speedy payment is an issue you may want to wait and see about that as it is dependant on the merchant and some take months to pay.

so you wouldnt recommend linkshare? which affiliate networks do recommend (beside cj)?

It's not that I would not recommend them, but just giving you things to think about. Overall, they are fairly competent. Generally, however, I would look for "independent" programs

do you mean "inhouse" APs? another question to linkshare: but the clicks are updatet daily only the sales arent? because i can already see some clicks in my reports...
