CJ = $250 unless you generate more than $10,000 in sales per month,

Linkshare $250 - going through the process now and they ar by far the biggest pain to set up.

Befree, free I think?

Performics, not sure.

OH yeah, many merchants will give you a free private feed if you ask.

I started a thread for merchants to list their free datafeeds over at the datafeed dot com forum. Also many of the merchants listed at atrustedmerchant dot com have free private feeds even if they are on a network. Most pro-active programs have free feeds these days.

Many merchants are even using this new instant page builder called the PSC that lets you build a custom product page, with your ID built into every link and image in less than a minute even if you have no datafeed knowledge.

I know a few pro affs that walk away from merchants with 'publicly available' datafeeds, knowing that the data will be duplicated over and over again in the serps. This is particularly true in product sales where the search will be done on part numbers or brand names for price comparisons ...last guy to draw the click gets the cookie.

OTOH, datafeeds can make good backfill for sites with existing traffic.
