Got any goals for next year, related to affiliate programs? I got a few.

Add a ton of information content to my newest site, which brings in about $80.00 per 2,000 page views. (Yes, thats CPM $40.00!)
Keep working with the nice Amazon program.
Promote more affiliet programs, if I find any other good ones. I'm trying a few CJ ones right now.

Income wise, I'll aim for $3,000 a month, plus the big holiday season.

My goal is 5 digits a month through affiliates. I'm not looking forward to the stages of seeing what works and what doesn't......

My Aim/Wish - or probably need! (possible redundancy) - is to make enough money to work full time from Affiliate Programs - so I guess $2000 - $3000 (or 1500 - 2000) per month from 1/4 2004 onwards.

Heres hoping (and working hard)

2003 has seen me move from double figure monthly affiliate income to triple figures on a few programs. Aim for 2004 is to consolidate what I have learnt and to aim for low four figures from each of 3 or 4 programs. I've been dabbling so far in very competitive areas, next year I plan to find my niche and concentrate on that. It would be nice to find a way to be less reliant on the G'plex too...

Trust ppc advertising a little more. For my revenue and not just run CPM ads on my site.

Also set up my first affiliate site.

Master PPC ( well in fact start PPC) instead of relying on natural search which surely wont last for ever!

If anyone wants to swap PPC management advice for SEO then please sticky me! Based in the UK so probably wouldn't be competing.

Join a few affiliate networks and make the most out of their xml feeds, which has so far proved an interesting way of managing sites for us.

My goal is to get out of the $.50 - $2.00 dollar a day bracket, and into the $15.00 - $20.00 dollar a day bracket.

Come on big money. (no whammies, haha).

Actually you only need $136.62 to make 50k.
The Year 2004 is a leap year and has 366 days!

Financial Goals:
$7 digits from pure affliate marketing. I just missed it in 2003, it will be a cert in 2004.

Personal Goals:
Enjoy life to the greatest extent possible, which means worry and work less on affliate marketing, get rid of as many "other" clients as possible, spend as much time as possible with family and friends, have the retirement plan 101% in place by the end of 2004, and do what makes me and my family happy without having to be concerned with financial restrictions.

Truelly people first, then money, then things....thanks Suze ;)

04 Plan: build more sites & diversify with the types of companies I promote! started tinkering with affy sites last year and did pretty well (getting to ~90% of my well paid day job just doing affys part time in the evenings)

This week is my last in a normal 35hr week working for a large company, next week I set up on my own working from home doing affy sites (and a few other income ideas) - fingers crossed for 04!

(scary)

The 66$ a day goal i set for myself in october, has been doubled with aff+advertising (still waiting on the first couple of big checks), so I'm not quite sure where to set my goal next, maybe 1k a day? ;p
Beyond purely numerical finacial goals, I'd like to diversify both my traffic and my revenue sources.
For the begining of '04 I'm going back to the drawing board to write the next generation of my main cash cow app. (I constantly remember a commercial I saw with a buisness owner freaking out over managing a growing company, the last line he says is "i thought growth was supposed to be a good thing") well, its certianly a good thing, but it has brought scalablilty issues I had not even considered before.

:::Hi Nintendo....

TOS 18 :(

Signing up a user name that is a obvious domain name or product name will be removed. This is out of unfair promotion considerations as well as trademark implications.

Otherwise I would of registered that name here!

Create at least 4 more income sources like my current $280/day in completely disjoint markets. I want the security that I can loose half my business and still be comfortable. Now that I figured out how it works I don't see any reason why I won't manage. That's a good feeling for a change.
