Hi everyone,

I'm a bit perplexed. For some reason we seem to have been banned or at least dropped from ask.co.uk.

Since we were dropped from .co.uk our ranking in ask.com increased to No. 5 then we were added to Teoma and we are now at No.4. Directhit seems to have dropped us at the same time as ask.co.uk but we are now back at No.13 I think that this lowly ranking may be as a direct result of not being on ask.co.uk where most of our Ask referrals were comming from.

How do I get back in ask.co.uk? I'm not sure what we have done to offend them but I have written to them asking for a re evaluation but to no avail. Has anyone here been dropped, have you managed to get back in and if so how?

Many thanks

Sid

I know DirectHit have been dropping sites ever since December (I think it was Dec) I haven't heard about problems with the .co.uk ask site. If you get a lot of traffic from ASK, and have lost your ranking without any explenation you migth wana consider THe PFI program [static.wc.ask.com]

I had the same problems with FAST/ALLTHEWEB, i used the PFI program, and then i was back to my normal ranking, even thought the pages were included without the PFI they didn't get good ranking, but after the PFI they got the same ranking as earlier (#1) :)
