Back door(free) to get listed on AJ/Teoma Network?

Is there a free way to get on ask jeeves/teoma network?

Yes. You just need incoming links.

Temoa is like the other crawlers out there - it will follow links and eventually crawl your site.

The only other thing you need is patience. Combine that with the first one and you will get crawled.

Of course, if you don't have one of the above (or both of the above), then PFI is an option. At least until September 30th. ;-)

Incoming links, does that mean my links listed on other web sites other than mine, then i get crawled that way?
Also, what did you mean by PFI option?

Incoming links means links from another website to yours. Also referred to as inbound links. Your summary was correct. However, the links need to be on sites that the AJ spider crawls, so the more "visible" the site is linking to you, the better.

PFI = pay for inclusion which means you pay a flat fee to get them to list your site quickly, though it doesn't guarantee you anything as far as ranking is concerned. And, as Warren said, AJ will only be doing PFI for a little under two more months.

Just to make sure that everything is clear, Ask Jeeves will only be accepting new subscription until September 30th.

However, your full 12 months subscription and all associated benefits will continue until your anniversary date.

This is to ensure existing and new customers are receiving exactly what they paid for. :)
